The Behaviour Change Collaborative Website
I designed and developed a new digital home for The Behaviour Change Collaborative, a not-for-profit charity focused on driving positive social impact. The project balanced technical execution with empathy building a site that is clear, inviting, and accessible to donors, supporters, and community members. From wireframes to a live WordPress build, every choice was guided by one question: how can design make giving feel effortless and meaningful?

Client :
The Behaviour Change Collaborative
Project Duration :
5 Months

Problem :
The Behaviour Change Collaborative launched BCC Impact as a new charitable branch focused on health promotion and disease prevention. They needed a website that would serve as both a welcoming digital home for their mission and a platform for donors to engage. Since this was a completely new initiative, the challenge was to design a site from the ground up something warm, trustworthy, and easy to navigate, with clear pathways for donations and supporter involvement.

Solution :
I began by creating wireframes and design concepts in Figma, which were refined through regular feedback sessions with my supervisor. Once approved, I developed the site in WordPress using the Divi builder. The build included a donation form, a thank-you page, and carefully crafted written content to ensure clarity and warmth. My process combined design and development: from ideation and prototyping to the final WordPress implementation, I was responsible for every step.

Challenge :
The greatest challenge was managing the full development process independently as the sole designer and developer. I had to problem-solve technical issues, manage deadlines, and adapt design decisions based on supervisor feedback all within the 120-hour internship timeframe. While I would rate the level of challenge as moderate to high, the experience pushed me to grow both technically and professionally, especially in time management, communication, and adapting to client needs.
Summary :
Although the project was not pushed into full launch due to time constraints, I documented how the site could be further developed and made accessible for future use. The internship gave me invaluable experience in handling a real-world client project from concept to build, balancing technical execution with stakeholder expectations. It also provided me with tangible work to showcase in my portfolio, resume, and LinkedIn profile demonstrating not only my technical skills but also my ability to communicate, adapt, and deliver under professional conditions.
